Festive Musical Delights

Sat 9 Dec at 3.00 pm - 5.00 pm

St Andrew’s, Great Ryburgh, Great Ryburgh, Norfolk, NR21 0BE

A rare opportunity to hear a choir of flutes and enjoy Christmas music and afternoon tea in an unusual round tower church.

The Mirliton Flutes is a group of  Norfolk flautists in what is sometimes called a flute choir. Some are professional musicians and teachers while others are semi-professional and amateur. The group uses piccolos, concert flutes, alto flutes and a bass flute to produce an exciting quality and range of sound. There is some repertoire for a group such as this but much of the material is arranged by its members to suit its resources.

Afternoon Tea will follow the concert. There is plenty of parking and a W.C. with disabled access.

Cost:
Retiring collection
