We are amazed at what God is doing across our churches and are excited for the season ahead. As part of our church planting and revitalisation programme, we are inviting you to consider giving a year of your life to serve within one of our churches, serving God at the front-line of ministry. It is a year in which you will grow, be stretched, and make a positive contribution to God’s work here.

Who’s it for?
If you are over 18 and would like to gain hands-on experience in a church setting then an internship or discipleship year may be the right thing for you.

How does it work?
For those applying, we are more interested in this being ‘right’ for both you and the church, than us filling a set number of spaces.

The internships typically run from Monday 6 September 2021 but this may change based on your or the churches requirements and availability.

We will provide accommodation with a member of the church, or in a shared house, and meet housing costs. We will provide a weekly allowance of £75 out of which you will contribute towards food costs.

We will cover all costs associated with work, such as travel.

Typically you will:

• be part of the worshipping community at the placement church and engage in team activities as directed
• help support and gain experience of planting and revitalisation teams in other areas
• engage in theological reflection and study alongside other interns sponsored through the Church Planting & Revitalisation Programme
• meet with and work alongside other members of the Church Planting & Revitalisation Team

Where will you be serving?
We have a number of positions available in a range of settings and different churches. If you are excited about church growth and are thinking about youth, sport, media, worship, ordained ministry or just looking for some experience before going on to university or after finishing we can find the right placement for you.
