Resource Centres
The Resource Centre at Easton is open for click and collect on Thursdays. Please contact the Children, Youth and Families office to start your resource centre subscription.
Registering to Join
Registration is available for a Diocese of Norwich Benefice, church of other christian denomination, church school/academy, christian group or charitable organisation.
How to register an organisation for borrowing resources
A lead contact – with their organisation’s permission – needs to fill out the Organisation Registration Form and return it to pls@qvbprfrbsabejvpu.bet.
Registrations run from 1st January – 31st December each year, irrespective of when during the year organisations sign up, and must be renewed annually at a cost of £25.
Forms must be completed and returned to pls@qvbprfrbsabejvpu.bet prior to borrowing items for the first time each year.
Additional Borrowers
Once an organisation is registered, additional borrowers from the organisation can register individually (with the organisation’s permission) to borrow items by completing the Borrower Registration Form.
By registering, borrowers agree that the organisation has:
- given their permission for them to register as a borrower,
- the organisation is aware of the purposes for which the individual is borrowing resources and
- that the organisation is suitably insured to cover the activity and use of resources.
Payment
Once the organisation is registered, payment of £25 will be requested by the Diocese of Norwich. This annual payment allows all registered individuals of the organisation to borrow items throughout the year (1st January – 31st December).
By signing up, the organisation and individual agrees to abide by the terms and conditions including having appropriate insurance and paying for repair or replacement should items be lost or damaged whilst on loan.
Some small charges are applicable for consumable items e.g. badge pieces for the badge maker. Charges for consumables can be paid at the time of loan and you will be advised of this.
Loans
Once registered, borrowers are at liberty to borrow items throughout the term of their registration. Items can be reserved in advance to ensure they are available when needed which is particularly important when borrowing large quantities (such as prayer space resources) or at busy times such as festivals and during the summer season.
Browsing
Registered borrowers are also welcome to come and browse the resources by prior arrangement. All items must be signed out by a member of staff or using the sign-out book in the resource centre.
If visiting Diocesan House, a member of the CYF team (by prior arrangement) will be able to help you or direct you on how to access the Resource Centre.
If you are visiting St John’s Loddon or St Faith’s Gaywood, please phone ahead to check the venue will be open.
