Wild Confirmation
When the Reepham and Wensum Valley Team arranged to hold a Confirmation service towards the end of last year, there was a wide range of ages interested.

But what to do with the only person under 18? Revd Helen and Revd Richard decided to trial something that they called ‘Wild Confirmation,’ to tie in with the Wild Messy Church that the local children were already involved in. 10-year-old Jacob was the willing guinea pig.
“I like being outdoors,” Jacob said, “and it was easier for me to hear God speaking to me in the things I love. Spending time in God’s creation helped me to think about how God is always with us.” The sessions were designed with plenty of space to pause and ponder, and there was always time for a snack. Each one took Jacob on a personal journey with a God who is always by our side.
