The global neighbourhood of the Anglican Communion

The Lambeth Conference is a gathering of bishops and their spouses from across the Anglican Communion for prayer and reflection, fellowship, and dialogue, about Church and world affairs.

It only happens once every 10 years, and Covid has delayed this conference, held in Canterbury, by two years.

With the theme of ‘God’s Church for God’s World – walking, listening and witnessing together,’ the conference – which stretches over 12 days of prayer, bible study, worship, fellowship, shared learning and action – will shape the life of the Anglican Communion for the next decade. Bishop Graham says: “Please pray that together as bishops we will learn deeply from each other, attend to God’s Word in 1 Peter – which I invite you to study at the same time – and build up bonds of friendship and affection as sisters and brothers in Christ who serve in a myriad of different contexts and situations.”
