Following Jesus at university
“University is such an exciting time to follow Jesus, students are often so open to hearing the gospel,” says Emma Pilgrim of the University of East Anglia Christian Union (CU).
“For students following the good shepherd, there can be exciting and challenging moments as they live and study in this crazy mission field.”
The CU supports evangelism on campus by giving every student the opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel and is made up of students from a wide range of local churches. “Following Jesus at university for me was so pivotal as I have grown in understanding what that means, and how to share the good news. Being in a community with other Christians in the CU, where students are equipped and encouraged not only in their personal evangelism but also as a group to reach their campus, is such a unique and special opportunity.”
