New IT training courses
The Diocese is running training courses in using the Microsoft Office 2010 programs such as Word, Publisher and Excel, and also in using the national "A Church Near You" website.
Courses are either for a full-day and hands-on (£20) or an evening seminar (free). A couple of spaces remain for next Tuesday’s Publisher Training Day or next Friday’s Excel 2010 Training Day, both at Diocesan House, Easton.
Core Skills for Children’s Ministry
Core Skills is a creative, interactive, inter-denominational training course for everyone who works, or hopes to work, with children in church.
The next course begins on 19th September and runs for seven Tuesday evenings from 7pm - 9.30pm at All Saints Church, Shipdham.
It looks at child development, leadership skills, programme planning, spirituality and much more.Find out more

Mustard Seed Awards
An initiative to find Christians with bright ideas that have the potential to transform lives and make a difference.
The format is a little like Dragon’s Den and offers up to £50,000 of investment to the winners; individuals and organisations passionate about making things happen to change society for the better.
My Place in God's World
A two session short course designed to explore God’s plans for you, your gifts, the things you are passionate about.
It’s suitable for any adult Christian, and consists of a Saturday and a weekday evening session. The next course is on Sat 20 October 2012 (10am-3pm) & Thurs 25 Oct (7.30-9.30pm) at the Church Hall, Holt NR25 6BB
