Lent Project 2012 - An update
So far £13,224 has been raised.
This is a great result in difficult financial times which shows the generosity of God’s people in this Diocese.
The Lent Project remains open until the end of the year for any further donations.
To reduce costs we are not sending out individual thank you letters and hope you will accept this as your thank you. Any donations that have been made with a receipt request should have received one already. If you need a receipt and haven’t had one yet, please get in touch.
I would be pleased to receive any comments on the resources which were provided – which were used and proved helpful, anything that did not work for you, and suggestions for what else could have been offered.
Lent Project 2013
I am beginning to look ahead to the Lent Project 2013 and invite nominations. This project will be selected by the Bishop of Norwich, but please send any nominations to me in the first instance. The criteria or the Lent Project is that it should:
- provide possibilities for education about and engagement with the world / world church by folk in our Diocese
- have real links with the Diocese
- encourage a ministry of evangelism
- be time limited and sustainable
